Trumpeter Dave Douglas and pianist Kris Davis team up for the first time for an engaging and electrifying program of new compositions and improvisations. Playing music from their recent releases, Douglas’ Devotion on Greenleaf Music, and Davis’ Duopoly on Pyroclastic, both of these independent artists are active performers and record label owners. Their duo will be a first meeting between two of New York’s most dynamic improvisers.
