EASilence is a variable ensemble with, at its core, Mirio Cosottini (trumpet) and Alessio Pisani (bassoon), two composers and improvisers from Tuscany and founders of GRIM, an association for musical research and improvisation. GRIM is intended to promote the culture of music with special consideration to research in the field of improvisation. This is done through an effort that is both theoretical (written research) and practical (performance and workshops).

EASilence uses graphic scores, to vehicle the sound in suggested directions, that are open to improvisation, and adopts a language that is often multi-stylistic in nature....
