About
Elektra Kurtis and Ensemble Elektra are crossing cultural and stylistic borders of
music, infusing American music: Jazz and Rock with Mediterranean, Arabic, Latin and
Polish styles.
The program will consist of the Elektra's newest compositions for the Ensemble and of
improvisations on themes from Szymanowski's Ballet Harnasie and from Polish
mountains Podhale, New York beats, Greek rhythms and Arabic modes.
