Elio Villafranca will bring the next generation of of his popular “Letters to Mother Africa” concerts to Aaron Davis Hall on Friday, March 31. With “Cuba – Senegal: Letters to Mother Africa II” Villafranca will present audiences with an exciting look into the African roots of modern jazz and Afro-Cuban music, bringing together jazz with authentic rumba and African percussion. Presented by the City College Center for the Arts (CCCA), tickets for the concert are $20 for reserved seating and $10 for seniors and students.
