From Mexican-born Maria Grever and her song 'What A Difference A Day Makes' (Cuando Vuelva A Tu Lado) and Bernice Petkere's 'Close Your Eyes' all the way to contemporary composers such as Clarice Assad, female songwriters' contributions have been rich, moving, engaging, and witty.
