Cameron Brown and Michael Sarin had the privilege of performing and recording with Konitz on a number of occasions; Lena Bloch, a close friend of Konitz, studied under him for 15 years; and Sebastien Ammann who has been studying Konitz's playing and compositions for many years, is a deep admirer or his work, and has worked closely with Ohad Talmor, one of Konitz's mentees.
