The Pirkei Avot Project is comprised of Amanda Monaco's original music accompanied by excerpts from the Pirkei Avot—a collection of Rabbinic wisdom compiled in the 3rd century C.E.

To realize this project, Monaco collaborated with Israeli vocalists Tammy Scheffer and Ayelet Rose Gottlieb, Daphna Mor (recorders and nei), Sean Conly (contrabass), Daniel Freedman, and Satoshi Takeishi (percussion). This ensemble has performed in venues in New York and Israel, as well as the Boston Jewish Music Festival.
