Born in 2001, Matthew Whitakers love for playing music first began at the young age of 3, after his grandfather gave him a small Yamaha keyboard. At age 9, Matthew began teaching himself how to play the Hammond B3 organ. At 13, he became the youngest artist endorsed by Hammond. At 15, he became the youngest jazz pianist to be endorsed by Yamaha. Matthew has toured in the US and abroad performing at the Apollo Theater, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, John F.
