Hailing from Spain, Ariadna Castellanos is a rising Flamenco artist and the future of the art form. With the piano, she merges new harmonies and modern traditions in the style of jazz with the wild and passionate essence of Flamenco, creating her own language, identity and genre of music. A classically trained musician with a natural sense of improvisation, Castellanos has performed at the Blue Note Jazz Festival at B.B. Ariadna Castellanos recently recorded her first album, Piano Flamenco with Universal Music, produced by the Grammy Award-winning composer and producer Javier Limón (Paco de Lucía, Bebo Valdés, El Cigala, Buika), which will be released at the end of the year. “When Ariadna first came to me and sat at the piano, I was impressed. With a brutal technique and a wild intuition, rare in pianists, she is born to break taboos and go against the current. I know of no one who has fought more to feel and learn this music,” says Limón.

A Barcelona-born dancer, Sonia Olla is renowned for her strong Flamenco stylings. Olla studied with the great flamenco masters, Merche Esmeralda, Manolo Marín, Antonio Canales Mariquilla and was a member of the renowned company of Rafael Amargo. She has performed all around the world and at the 2010 Spanish presidential celebration.
