Ben Holmes Quartet at Barbes

Following the November 2012 release of his Skirl Records debut, "Anvil of the Lord" (Skirl 020), trumpeter/ composer Ben Holmes is bringing his quartet back to Barbès in Park Slope, Brooklyn on Tuesday, March 12th at 7 PM for the fifth installment of his group's monthly residency. This performance will include a new setting of the instrumental setting of the poem "A Dead Mole" by Andrew Young as well as the début of two parts from a projected suite tentatively titled "Music for Deleted Scenes".
