Pianist Bill Charlap, who The New Yorker writes leads the premier mainstream piano trio of our day,
Charlap was a member of the Gerry Mulligan Quartet for two years in the late 8Os and, has been accompanist of choice for several noted vocalists-including Tony Bennett and Carol Sloane. Bill has appeared on over 50 CDs as a sideman as well as recording under his own name.
