Plaxico first came to public attention through his work with the Wynton Marsalis group in 1982, though his first regular attachment was with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers (1983–86), with whom he recorded twelve albums."
ERIC LEMONS-bassist
Lemons was born in Brooklyn, NY. At an early age he moved with his family to Queens where he later developed a desire to play the electric bass. By age 13 he was leading a Funk Band, around the Tri State Area.
Eric’s education with the stand up bass began at age 20 with Cecil McBee, and Dr. Dennis Moorman. He’s played, recorded or toured with James Spaulding, Gloria Lynn, Harpers Bros, Benny Powell and Lou Donaldson. Maxine Sullivan, Roy Hargrove, Slide Hampton, Jimmy Heath and John Hendrix. His first recording of his own is named ‘LEMON TREE’ produced under his co-foundering company, ‘BrownstoneJAZZ’

Training: Classical music and conservatory diploma, Meet the jazz and studied with Franco D'Andrea, Rita Marcotulli, Enrico Pieranunzi. Performs live with his own groups for many years.
