This very exciting band is led by drummer Rashid Bakr who played and recorded with Cecil Taylor for 10 years. It includes bassist Larry Roland who played with and recorded with Rafe Malik, reed player Ras Moshe who has toured and recorded with William Parker, and guitarist Billy Stein who recorded and performed with Rashid Bakr and myself, Michael Moss, for many years. I have performed with William, Billy, Rashid, and Ras multiple times and look forward to working with Larry this coming Monday.
