This event will feature exclusive performances by Haitian singer and activist Emeline Michel, Guadaloupe' s jazz master Jacques Schwarz-Bart, and an original musical creation "Amidou & Toya", realized by students of the French Heritage Language Program in Brooklyn and featuring band AJOYO. The concert will conclude with a multicultural cocktail reception prepared by acclaimed Senegalese Chef Pierre Thiam.
All the proceeds will go towards supporting free French classes for under-served French-speaking communities across the United States.
