Concert & Jam Session Featuring Sam Dillon at Music Academy Creative Arts Center

The Music Academy of Garden City presents a Jazz Concert and Jam Session featuring rising star tenor player Sam Dillon.

This concert is part of a series which will be held every third Tuesday of the month at the Music Academy's performance space, the Creative Arts Center, and feature a special guest accompanied by Music Academy faculty members.

Sam Dillon was a semi-finalist in the Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition and has recorded and performed with many of the top players in jazz. He is a graduate of the Juilliard School and has played on over twenty recordings, and released two solo albums to date. Sam will be joined by two of New York's most in-demand sidemen, bassist Pete Coco and drummer Chris Smith....
