Featuring the powerful vocals of Xiomara Torres from Guapi, Colombia, the group highlights the marimba de chonta, a traditional Afro-Colombian instrument, while infusing its sound with modern harmonies and rhythms. The result is a dynamic fusion that celebrates the cultural heritage of Colombia's Pacific coast while exploring innovative musical landscapes. The ensemble performs regularly at the Marimba Café in New Jersey, a community-focused venue with roots in Puerto Rican and Colombian culture.
