Dances of the World Ensemble at The Firehouse Space

Much of the music is inspired by the rhythms of Guinea as well as other music genres such as tango, classical music and jazz. The written material is inspired by the conversations/polyrhythms of the West African djembes and dun duns. Some of the music is through composed but other pieces are developed with improvisation.
