Dave Liebman, Sam Newsome, and Heath Watts will be performing soprano saxophone improvisations to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Steve Lacy's passing. They will be joined by the fantastic rhythm section of Matt Engle on bass and Michael Szekely on drums. The show is free if you're in NYC and will be streamed on the Internet for free through Roberto's Woodwinds. The show is on Thursday, June 5 from 8-10 PM at Michiko Studio (Roberto's Winds) at 149 West 46 St in NYC.
