Elio Coppola "new York Trio" Feat. Emmet Cohen at Peperoncino Jazz Festival: New York Session at Frederick Loewe Theater

For the first time the “Peperoncino Jazz Festival New York Session” will be hosted at the elegant “Frederick Loewe Theater” of NYU with a trio led by a true talent of Italian jazz: the neapolitan drummer Elio Coppola, who despite his young age, has already made his way across the italian and international scene (his "rhythms" have accompanied, among others, Enrico Rava, Benny Golson, Peter Bernstein, David Kikoski and Ronnie Cuber).
Coppola will be joined by a New York based musician with italian roots, the prodigious bassist Joey Ranieri and, as special guest, the great piano player Emmet Cohen, winner of the 2019 American Pianists Awards, and a finalist in the 2011 Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition.
