Tonight's performance marks both the New York City and Alwan debut of Lebanese-Venezuelan singer
Elizabeth Ayoub, whose songs combine the sensual latin rhythms and tones of the Caribbean and Hispanic
America with the haunting melodies of her ancestral homeland of Lebanon. Further enriched by influences
from the popular music of North America and Europe and her uniquely beautiful, heartfelt voice, this
evening's concert sin fronteras ("without borders") is an lyrical amalgam not to be missed.
