have been compared to Aimee Mann, Jeff Buckley, and Radiohead. Their music combines beautiful
melodies and vulnerable lyrics with complex, often dissonant arrangements, reminiscent of the
Troubadour era with a modern sound.
The Tap Music describes Emily Danger as “a real mix of blues, folk and soul…they’re definitely the band
to follow.” Camille Gavin of The Bakersfield Californian says Emily Nicholas has a “beautiful, versatile
voice… (she is) a star on the rise.”
The band is named after a nickname given to Emily by Colin because “Danger” is, in fact, her middle
name.
The release party is free for all ages from 7-11 PM and will include an open bar hour and DJed dance
party immediately following the show.
