Latin Grammy® 2023 nominee Estrella Acosta is an acclaimed vocalist known for her captivating performances and deep connection to her Cuban roots. Estrella, now based in Amsterdam, and the extraordinary New York-based guitarist David Oquendo will draw inspiration from the rich musical heritage of their motherland, and present a program featuring a fusion of styles that span from traditional Cuban country music (música guajira), trova and son to the jazz influenced bolero, including Estrella’s own compositions from her nominated album, ‘Tierra’.
