Henry Grimes at Somethin' Jazz Club

A trio of brilliant avant-garde musicians coming out of and extending the jazz tradition. Henry Grimes plays acoustic bass and violin and reads his poetry, and is known and honored throughout the world. Marc Medwin's instrument is piano, though he is also a renowned jazz writer and full-time assistant professor at American University in Washington, D.C. Tyshawn Sorey plays mostly drums and is going for his doctorate at Columbia University. At the club, there'll also be sushi, Japanese food, snacks and drinks available. What a beautiful night this will be!
