Jacob Chung
Jazz saxophonist Jacob Chung moved from Toronto to New York City in 2022 and has since maintained an active performance schedule at The Django, Ornithology, Smalls, Mezzrow, Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Brvsh Cvl7r3, and other NYC clubs. Jacob plays in Rodney Green’s Jackson Miller Trio, the Chris Byars Octet, the Richard Cortez Band, and is a regular member of Erena Terakubo’s Sextet. He has also shared the stage with Ken Peplowski, the John Pizzarelli Big Band, Peter Washington, the Mingus Big Band, Pasquale Grasso, Ari Roland, and Joe Farnsworth. Jacob has performed twice at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington D.C., first in 2023 with the prestigious Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program and most recently with vibraphonist Chuck Redd in 2024. Mason Millard - Trumpet
Mason Millard is a jazz trumpet player who's been working in New York City since 2016. He is currently the coordinator of Jazz At Lincoln Center's Middle School and High School Jazz Academies, where he coaches big band, combos and the trumpet studio. His teachers include Barry Harris, Kevin Quill, Bruce Harris and Marcus Printup. He has played in bands lead by Grant Stewart, Sacha Perry, Pasquale Grasso, Chris Byars, Alex Claffy, and Evan Sherman, and has toured internationally with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. He also leads his own group in venues around the city.

Richie Clements - Piano
Richard Clements is a pianist. In the 1970’s Richard played in various R & B bands in the northern California area. In the early 1980’s, he moved to New York City to pursue his Jazz studies with Jazz master pianist Barry Harris. Richard has worked with Clifford Jordan, Abby Lincoln, Leon Thomas, Charlie Persip and His Super Band, Clarence C. Sharp, Roland Alexander, Melba Joyce, and others. In 1997 Richard moved to Paris, France and joined the band of Archie Shepp. During this time he traveled extensively throughout Europe, Japan, standing with the Archie Shepp Band for five years. During the time Richard lived in Paris, he collaborated with Melvin Van Peebles, providing a piano soundtrack for one of his movies. In 2001 Richard moved back to New York City and directed the vocal workshop at The University of the Streets. Presently, Richard conducts a weekly piano workshop at Bill’s Place in Harlem.
Ari Roland - Bass
Ari Roland (bass) was born and raised in New York City. He began playing bass at the age of 12 and was working professionally by age 16. He studied at The Juilliard School and has played in the bands of jazz legends such as Lou Donaldson, Barry Harris and Betty Carter. Sketches From a Bassist's Album, his recent CD on Smalls Records, has received widespread critical acclaim.
