The idea of Mark Soskin and Verena McBee to perform as a duo was born after a quintet night in spring of 2015 in NYC.
Tonight this new project will have its debut with quiet an exciting program, covering originals by Verena & Mark, some hit tunes by the popular Septet “The Cookers” composed by bassist & composer Cecil McBee and you’re going to hear as well some very personally and uniquely arranged standard tunes by Vocalist Verena McBee.
