This thrilling event features a dramatic presentation of "The Orderly Extreme," in which Eli Siegel, poet and critic and founder of Aesthetic Realism, discussed Shelby Foote's moving novella titled "Ride Out," about a jazz musician. In it, Mr. Siegel said: "This is one of the best things about music I know--also about people.... If you can let go and still be orderly, you're an artist. The motto for Jazz is Professor Tiger."
