Jazzical Fusion at Birdland

Musician, conductor, and music director Martin Piecuch will bring his “Jazzical Fusion” project to New York City. The trio performance, which features Piecuch on multiple woodwinds with pianist Regan Ryzuk and guitarist Ron Murray, mixes classical music, modern jazz, and the ancient folk music of Europe and the Americas. The trio is touring in support of their Jazzical Fusion recording, which features their unique take on works including Bach’s “Air on a G String” with Jobim’s “Samba de Una Nota,” Satie’s “Gymnopedie No. 1,” and Tchaikovsky’s “Love Theme from Romeo & Juliette” with Matt Dennis’ “Angel Eyes.”
