The music and imagery for Kinetic were first imagined in tropical Ghana, West Africa. Joe Sheehan, Kinetic's pianist and composer, spent six months studying traditional music and dance there, channeling this experience into original songs inspired by traditional and popular West African musics, jazz, and R&B. Their debut CD, World of Wonder, was released in November of 2014.
Kinetic is comprised of Anqwenique Wingfield on vocals, special guest Chris Parker on guitar, Jason Rafalak on bass, Joe Sheehan on keys, PJ Roduta on percussion, and Ryan Socrates on drums....
