The first evening of the “Peperoncino Jazz Festival New York Session” third edition will be hosted in the highly prestigious Italian Cultural Institute, a place institutionally dedicated to the enhancement and promotion of Italian culture in the USA.
John Patitucci is one of the most in-demand bassists of the jazz world and was a member of Chick Corea’s Elektric and Akoustic Bands, and was also a longtime member of the Wayne Shorter Quartet.
Patitucci has deep ties to Italy, his grandparents were from Torano Castello in Calabria.
