Featuring Trombonist, Composer, Arranger John Yao who the New York Times calls “a smart composer-bandleader.” Each month Yao will be joined by a different group of musicians performing new original compositions and arrangements. Music from his two Quintet releases “In the Now” (2012) and “Presence” (2017) which the Midwest Record says is “Progressive stuff for progressive ears.
