Her last two albums have garnered praise from DownBeat Magazine, where both have received Editor’s Pick mentions. Appearing with Hannah Marks on bass, she will premiere songs from her forthcoming release, Falling, an album of mostly original songs. Here, Sergeant’s artistry serves a theme of falling: in love, out of love, from grace, into darkness or surrender.
