Two Braxton ensemble vocalists, Anne Rhodes and Kyoko Kitamura, will be discussing their work with Anthony Braxton, demonstrate aspects of his Language Music System (hopefully with audience participation), perform Braxton compositions (Ghost Trance Music) and end with a collective performance where the audience will be using the elements we discussed. It's FREE. Vocalists and instrumentalists, drop by with your voice and instruments (small instruments might be better due to space constraints); we'll celebrate DMG being spared Sandy's wrath and just enjoy making music together in times of adversity...
