Canadian bassist Lauren Falls is a fresh new face on the New York jazz scene. Primarily a performer with an unexpectedly strong command of the bass, Ms Falls is also an accomplished composer. Playing original compositions that draw from swing, folk, rock and modern jazz she aspires to write music for every listener to enjoy. Joining her on the bandstand are some of New York's most prominent jazz musicians.
