In 2016, Laurin Talese released her debut album Gorgeous Chaos to wide acclaim. The recording was recognized as one of the top ten best albums of 2016 by the Chicago Tribune and was highly ranked on 3 Billboard Jazz charts. It features modern day jazz elite such as Robert Glasper, Christian McBride, and longtime collaborator Eric Wortham II among others.
