Brooklyn native and swing-jazz vocalist Martin McQuade pays tribute to American tunesmiths who put New York City on jazz music’s landscape. His show at Schnitzel Haus in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn will feature an array of singalong showtunes and piano lounge room melodies made famous by the luminaries of swing. Accompanied by pianist Jesse Gelber, McQuade’s repertoire includes: “New York, New York,” “East Side, West Side,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” “42nd Street.” “Putting on the Ritz,” and a host of others.
