The Mel Nusbaum Jazz Quartet will perform a free concert at the Tenafly Library on October 25th from 2-3PM, sponsored by the Friends of the Tenafly Library. Playing creative, rhythmic music, this exciting group will be playing favorite jazz standards, blues, ballads, funk, fusion, and original tunes. Mel, a Tenafly resident for 35 years, is a veteran musician on both guitar and piano. He is a versatile and inventive player who has collaborated with many of the very best musicians on the jazz scene today. Since he first saw the gorgeous piano at the Tenafly Library, he has wanted to play it. At this concert he will explore beautiful piano sounds with his jazz quartet for all to enjoy.
