ABOUT MIKE ERRICO Recording artist, author, and professor Mike Errico has had a critically acclaimed career: As a TV composer, his work stretches from VH-1’s iconic Pop-Up Video theme to music for series including Billions, Shameless, and Dexter. His writing has appeared in publications including the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, as well as with the BBC, and his 2022 book Music, Lyrics, and Life: A Field Guide for the Advancing Songwriter is required reading in arts programs across the country. In 2025, after teaching songwriting at Yale, Wesleyan, and the New School, he was made Assistant Arts Professor at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
