<b>The Mike Rood Communion</b> is comprised of some of New York City's most prominent young musicians. Guitarist and composer Mike Rood was born in NYC, and has been leading his own groups for the last several years, performing throughout the US, at dozens of NYC venues, such as Carnegie Hall, Bruno Walter Auditorium, Iridium, Fat Cat, and Sweet Rhythm, and recently at the Bern Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
