Summer Jazz Series
This summer we’re presenting performances from some of Scandinavia’s most talented young jazz musicians, composers, and singers from June 20 through July 11. All concerts begin at 7:30 PM, following a 7 PM reception on our Volvo Hall terrace.

About the Musicians
Mikkel Ploug started on drums at age 4 and began studying guitar in his teens. He graduated as Master of Jazz Guitar from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Netherlands with a special distinction for his original composition. Mikkel has since had a very multifaceted career including as a soloist with the Royal Danish Ballet and numerous commissions by the Danish Art Council to work on speech-derived composition. His latest acoustic solo record Alleviation has received critical acclaim from all over the world.
