Tonights performances by this GRAMMY Awardwinning ensemble begin another month of our Mingus Monday weekly residency dedicated to the music of Charles Mingus (19221979). He is usually called Jazzs Angry Man. But he is capable of joy in his music and warmth toward his fellow musicians. He is also capable of extraordinary musicmaking.
