#MingusMondays bring you the big sound of a big band, orchestra, or sextet of some of New York's most A-List veteran musicians, coming together to celebrate the music of composer/bassist Charles Mingus, who died in 1979. Under the artistic direction of Sue Mingus, the Mingus Big Band alternates with the Mingus Orchestra and Mingus Dynasty at Jazz Standard.
