About

Brahim Fribgane presents for the first time at Terraza an exquisite treat of Moroccan Gnawa music.
Gnawa music came from West Africa ( Bambara Mali ) to Morocco in the 15th century. This type of music is used for healing purposes just like Santeria in Cuba or Candomble in Brazil.

The instrumentation includes:
SINTIR : a 3 string bass-like instrument.
KARKABA : a metal castanet.
TBAL: a round drum.
