In conjunction with the Dafina: Hidden Treasure exhibition, ArtsWestchester will present a concert of the Music of Mali. Performers include (list in formation) Yacouba Sissoko, Famoro Dioubate, and Awa Sangho. The music of Maili is dominated by forms derived from the ancient Mande Empire—as the Mande make up most of the Country’s population.
