Richard Barone's MUSIC + REVOLUTION students will take the historic Bitter End stage to perform songs from the songwriters they have studied — legends who shook the world with their words and music in the 1960s and created one of the most important musical movements in American history.In the 1960s, a new wave of Greenwich Village songwriters and performers inspired by the folk music revival of the 1950s created socially aware and deeply personal music that spoke to a generation like never before. These artists—Bob Dylan, Buffy Sainte-Marie, and Phil Ochs to name a few—changed music forever. Before long, the Blues Project and Jimi Hendrix turned things psychedelic and continued to inspire new sounds...
