Music Director Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic join forces with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Wynton Marsalis, artistic director and trumpet, for the U.S. Premiere of Mr. Marsalis’s new work - Symphony No. 3, Swing Symphony - (a Co-Commission by the New York Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and The Barbican).
