Noelle/Taubenhouse/Itzik was born out of countless jam sessions at Yaniv's apartment, with the intention of approaching standards with a fresh, open and honest mind, paired with intense listening and no preconceptions. The same was then applied to their original music, either written or selected with each other's unique musical personalities in mind. The group opted not to have bass in order to get out of their comfort zone, and either to deal with the absent low frequencies or find ways to supplement them with the cautious use of electronics.
