The Nora McCarthy ♀u’ART’et is an organic jazz group that takes a modern approach to classic standards and blues that is engagingly in the moment. Its members are strong, dedicated jazz musicians whose musical presence spans several decades on the New York and global music scene. Their enlivening repertoire, a tapestry of original music, contemporary and classic jazz, Blues, and free music art forms woven together with on-the-spot improvisation and poetry makes for a compelling performance, specifically designed to honor the Ladies of Jazz.
