About
Old McDonald does not have a farm in NYC. Since their arrival on the NYC jazz scene, Hayden Hawkins (drums), Kyle Wilson (tenor saxophone) and Zach Lane (double bass) have created their own musical "farm house". Their music marries the grit of the city with the laid-back attitude of their native states, New Mexico and Texas. The music consists of originals by the band as well as a few selections by Sonny Rollins, Charles Mingus and Coleman Hawkins (no relation to Hayden...we don't think). Expect some serious swing and beautiful melodies!
