Dressed in purple from her hair down to her shoes, French-American artist, actress, and author Ultra Violet was a striking figure on the New York art scene for more than 50 years. A muse to Salvador Dali and famously, one of Andy Warhol’s superstars, she went on to become a celebrated artist in her own right.
