About
Parias Ensemble has been an ongoing project led by Daniel Reyes Llinas and Luis Ianes since 2007 as an instrumental chamber group. The original idea was to create a medium to allow us to write and perform new music without boundaries between written and improvised ideas, nurturing from the classical European tradition, Latinoamerican popular music, jazz and contemporary sources. The Ensemble has performed in different venues all around New York City among others: IBeam, El Museo del Barrio, Monkey Town, Brooklyn Public Library, NYPL, Nublu and Local 269.
